BVS 2025
The 7th edition is scheduled from 26–29th of December, 2025, at Tirupati, the knowledge capital of Andhra Pradesh, which hosts an IIT, an IISER, a National Sanskrit University (Sanskrit Vidya Peeth), Sri Venkateswara University, Sri Padmavathi Mahila Unviersity and Vedic University.
The focal theme for BVS 2025 is “समग्र विकास के लिए भारतीय अवधारणा”: Sustainable development with a Bhāratīya Perspective.
To date, 6 Sammelans have taken place so far: Bhopal (2007), Indore (2009), Jalandhar (2012), Panaji (2015), Pune (2017), and Ahmedabad (2023).
BVS 2025 is being organized with the intention of connecting traditional and modern science and encouraging the use of Bhartiya regional languages for sharing scientific ideas. It celebrates India’s heritage by combining natural and spiritual sciences and inspires young minds to think creatively and originally. The event highlights grassroot innovations and showcases recent scientific contributions in India. It also explores how traditional knowledge can help in solving today’s real-world challenges.
Scope of the Sammelan and Call for Abstracts
The scope of BVS 2025 covers keynote speakers, invited experts, panel discussions, public orations, as well as oral and poster presentations in any Indian regional language or English. We invite scientists, researchers, academicians, technocrats, grassroots innovators, farmers, artisans, and students to present their research, scientific innovations, and creative ideas that address the conference themes and contribute sustainable solutions to the nation’s challenges.| S. achievements in S&T, traditional arts, crafts, and grassroots innovations. Featuring contributions from ISRO, DST, DBT, CSIR, DRDO, IITs, NITs, IISERs, and Central Universities. Aimed at inspiring students about Indian Science and Scientists.
This exhibition intends to showcase the innovations and achievements in science and technology, traditional arts, crafts, practices and contemporary grass root innovations from different parts of India.
Additionally, it will also showcase the Indian achievements in science and technology by several organizations such as ISRO, PRL, IPR, DAE, DST, DBT, CSIR, DRDO, ICAR, ICMR, MNRE, MOES, and the like. Many academic institutions like Universities, IITs, NITs, IISERs along with a large number of innovators are expected to showcase their achievements.
